Pigs mating process.

A female pig ready for mating and pregnancy should weigh 70 to 90 kg or to be 9 months old. The visible symptoms indicate that pigs are ready for mating which help us to understand that it is time to place female pigs into the cell next to male pigs are the followings. The symptoms indicate that pigs are ready for mating:

1 - vagina become very red and swollen;

2 – female pig produces a very specific sound;

3 - in this period which usually lasts 3 days animals should be fixed by two hands to avoid animal movement. Note: We have to be careful not to miss a mating period of pigs which lasts 3 days as the next mating period will be not earlier than 15 to 20 ???? ( months ? years?) Another important thing to know about this is: during each mating period sperm inserts into uterus for 3 - 4 times.

An important detail concerning male pig is:

1 – Male pig can be in a mating process no more than twice a day;

2- During mating male pig moves out of the body about 750 grams of sperm.

After each mating process male pig must eat 3 eggs to prepare for next mating process. Once the male and female pigs placed into the cell and mating process took place we have to fix the mating date and after 15 -20 days in there is no pregnancy prepares animals to another mating process.
