The method of castration: The surgery is performed using special devices currently available in Europe market using for animal head and legs fixation. This procedure become easy and fast because of this device and there is no need to other persoel except veterinarian who perform the surgery. However is there is no device the surgical procedure performed by veterinarian and other persoel who fix the animal from back. The castration procedure starts with injection of 1 ml of anesthetic (lidocaine) around 2 testes and between testicular. Piglet fixed sleep, after this we run around the testicles and then the tail with cotton dipped in iodine antiseptic. Next step is making surgically small incision (less than 1 cm and 3 ml) on each testicle either horizontally or vertically, to open the skin and reach the capsule with testicles. When the skin on the scrotum is cut, the testicles clearly identify and in many cases are pulled away from the body. Then spermatic cord is cut with scissors and separated from testicles. In the final stage of this procedure we use antibiotics and otc spray to prevent infection and the development of egg-laying insects. It takes 3 - 4 days to full recovery of piglet.
